“Viet Nam in Me” concert lights national pride

Updated: 15:08, 27/08/2025

Thousands of people flocked to the National Exhibition and Fair Centre (Dong Anh, Ha Noi) to enjoy the “Viet Nam in Me” concert despite the heavy rain on the evening of August 26.

The programme was organised by the Ha Noi Opera House and relevant units under the direction of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. It was part of a series of events within the National Achievements Exhibition celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 –September 2, 2025).

“Viet Nam in Me” ignites national pride.

Performed by renowned young artists such as Soobin Hoang Son, Hoa Minzy, Duc Phuc, Anh Tu, Quan A.P, Duong Hoang Yen, Erik, the Chillies band, and others, the programme not only brought explosive performances but also honoured the beauty of the Vietnamese land and people.

At the same time, it stirred patriotism, national pride, and the desire among the younger generation to dedicate themselves to the cause of building the country.

With over 20 meticulously produced performances, the concert took the audience on a musical journey divided into three parts: “Viet Nam in me is the lullaby of memory”; “Viet Nam in me is the journey”; and “Viet Nam in me is love”.

Through the programme, the audience reviewed the nation’s hard but glorious 80-year journey: from the success of the August Revolution, President Ho Chi Minh’s Declaration of Independence that gave birth to the Democratic Republic of Viet Nam, to the path of national construction and defence today.

The concert featured numerous songs that kindled patriotism and national pride, such as “I am Vietnamese – Viet Nam homeland”, “Our people sing folk songs”, “The fatherland in the sunshine”, and more.

Notably, through the vibrant and dynamic performances of young artists, many familiar melodies were given a new interpretation, delivering explosive emotions to the audience.

The resonance of music with choreography, visual effects, and lighting and sound technology created performances that captivated the senses and touched the audience’s hearts.

In addition, the programme featured special and meaningful exchanges with guest artists, as well as inspiring documentary films about the spirit of serving the Fatherland.

During the event, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism launched a fundraising campaign to support people in central provinces who are facing severe damages caused by Storm No. 5.

The music night delivered a significant message: no matter how difficult the circumstances, Vietnamese people always stand shoulder to shoulder to overcome all challenges, for the image of a proud and loving Viet Nam shining forever in every heart.
