Bac Ninh rushes to complete exhibition space at national exhibition
HANOI– Authorities in Bac Ninh province are racing to complete their exhibition space at the exhibition “80 Years of Independence – Freedom – Happiness” scheduled to open on August 28 at the National Exhibition Centre in Dong Anh district, Hanoi.
Permanent Deputy Chairman of Bac Ninh People’s Committee Mai Son inspected the site on August 24, urging contractors and cultural officials to finish the work on schedule and ensure the display highlights the province’s achievements.

The Bac Ninh booth, themed “A thousand years of heritage – Aspiration in a new era”, covers 345 square meters and features a three-level structure with six zones.
The sections trace Bac Ninh’s role in national history, political and economic development, advances in science and technology, cultural and social achievements, defense and security as well as the dynamism and creativity of its people.

Designed in a modern open style, the space integrates advanced projection technologies including LED screens, mesh LED and VRA360, combined with lighting effects. Officials said about 90% of the work has been completed.
The provincial leader praised the urgency and responsibility of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and contractors while stressing that the exhibition is a valuable opportunity to promote Bac Ninh’s image, potential and achievements to both domestic and international audiences.
He instructed agencies to refine content, ensure English subtitles for digital displays, highlight Bac Ninh’s scholarly traditions and prioritize showcasing high-tech products developed locally.

Plans also include a violin performance to welcome delegates, symbolizing the province’s openness to cultural exchange.
The exhibition will run from August 28 to September 5, bringing together provinces and ministries from across Vietnam to mark eight decades of the nation’s development.
