Ha Noi adorned with flowers and flags for 80th National Day

Updated: 09:09, 15/08/2025

These days, the streets of the capital Ha Noi are splendidly decorated to mark the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day.

In many residential areas, people are cleaning up their surroundings and hanging the Party flag and the national flag.

At the intersection of Hang Ma and Hang Luoc streets, a forest of flags in all sizes fill the space, creating a vibrant red tapestry like a painting of patriotism.

Bamboo blinds bearing the words “Independence – Freedom – Happiness,” along with various other accessories, have become popular items drawing crowds to Hang Ma Street.

Bright red flags with yellow stars flutter proudly at Trang An Primary School.

A café on Dien Bien Phu Street is also decorated with national flags and signboards reading “Freedom – Independence – Happiness.”

Young people learn about the country’s diplomatic activities on posters installed along a street in Ha Noi.

Major roads are dressed up, with final touches being completed hurriedly for the grand celebration.

Leading up to the celebration, the number of visitors to Ha Noi is expected to rise sharply.

A family capture memorable moments during this historic time for the nation.

All roads lead to the historic Ba Dinh Square, where people gather in front of President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum to take commemorative photos.

The final touches are being completed, adding to the beauty of the capital on this grand occasion.
