Vietnamese enterprises joined the third Indian International Food and Beverage Expo (Indus Food 2020) in Uttar Pradesh, India, from January 8 to 10, to seek business cooperation opportunities in confectionery, beverages, energy drinks and fruits.
It is one of the major international fairs in the field of food, processed food and drinks, attracting nearly 1,000 Indian and international businesses.

In addition to Indus Food, this year’s event also featured the IndusFood Tech Fair, specialising in machinery and technology in the field of manufacturing, processing and packaging of food and beverages, as well as Indusfood Chem, specialising in chemicals, additives and input materials for the food industry.
With the support of the Vietnam Trade Office under the Vietnamese Embassy in India and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Vietnamese enterprises attended the fair, which was considered a good opportunity to introduce and promote Vietnamese food products to importers from India and around the world.
It was also a good opportunity for Vietnamese agricultural products to penetrate into the Indian market, which has great potential.
1,280 new enterprises established in Bac Giang
(BGO) - According to the
provincial Department of Planning and Investment, about 1,280 new enterprises
were established in Bac Giang province this year, up nearly 9 percent compared
to the same period of last year.

- On December 18, Chairman of the Bac Giang provincial People's Committee Duong
Van Thai, who is also Chairman of the provincial Business Association, chaired
the fourth-quarter Entrepreneur Cafe programme. Attending the event were Bui
Van Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial
Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Council as well as
representatives of many member businesses and entrepreneurs.
Newly-established enterprises increase nearly 7% in eleven months
Vietnam has seen nearly 126,700 newly-established enterprises in the eleven months of this year with a total registered capital of VND1,500 trillion (over US$64 billion), an annual increase of 4.5% in terms of the number of enterprises and 27.5% in terms of registered capital.
