It is currently one of four vocational training centres operated by the Ministry of National Defence across four provinces in Military Region 1, while expanding training cooperation to six provinces in Military Region 2.
In 2025, the college trained more than 5,000 learners, with over 3,500 trainees enrolled in the first three months of this year alone.
Under the motto “Learn by doing – Master the craft,” the school focuses on integrating theory with hands-on practice and strengthening ties with businesses to ensure graduates can enter the workforce immediately. Representatives of enterprises and parents expressed confidence in the institution’s training quality.
Speaking at the conference, the PPC Vice Chairman praised the initiative, describing it as a practical programme amid rising demand for high-quality labour.
He noted that only about 36% of the province’s workforce currently holds vocational certificates. As Bac Ninh aims to reinforce its role as a national industrial hub, the province requires a well-trained, highly skilled workforce, making cooperation between businesses and vocational institutions especially important.
The provincial leader added that Tien Du district has been planned as a “university town,” with several university projects approved, alongside policies to support high-quality vocational training.
Vocational College No.1 has been selected as a training base in Bac Ninh, aligning with the province’s development plan. He urged the college to expand high-quality training programmes to meet local demand, while reaffirming the province’s commitment to providing tailored support mechanisms during its operations.

With its achievements and future orientation, provincial leaders expect the college to further enhance vocational training integrated with general education, helping meet the province’s workforce needs.
The conference serves as an important platform to strengthen coordination among schools, families and businesses, contributing to the development of a high-quality workforce to support the province’s socio-economic growth in the coming period.
