The project has a total investment of 122 billion VND (5.17 million USD). The Northern Power Corporation is the investor while the Power Grid Project Management Board acts as the project management and supervision unit. Duyen Ha Company Limited (Hanoi City) is selected to be construction contractor.

At the project implementation ceremony, the contractor pledged to complete the project on schedule and put it into operation in March 2025. The Project construction has great significance because after completion, it will ensure safe, stable and reliable power supply for the Song Khe - Noi Hoang Industrial Park and Bac Giang City.

The construction of this substation affirms the electricity industry's commitment to invest in improving the quality of grid infrastructure and the reliability of power supply to localities and businesses in Bac Giang province, thereby actively helping develop the economy, culture and society as well as improve the lives of local people.
