Bac Giang completes three hi-tech agriculture models

(BGO) – According to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD), Bac Giang province has recently completed building three high technology farming models in 2018.

The model in Thuy Lan Collective Service Cooperative in Song Mai commune (Bac Giang city).

The models included An Thuan Seedling Cooperative in Bao Dai commune (Luc Nam district); Thuy Lan Collective Service Cooperative in Song Mai commune (Bac Giang city) and Yen Dung Safe Vegetable Cooperative in Tien Dung commune (Yen Dung district).

These models are specialized in cultivating various vegetables in membrane houses with the scale of 2,000 – 5,000 square meters while their products are consumed under contracts.

Currently, the DARD’s verification group is inspecting the models for acceptance then submits to the provincial People’s Committee so as to offer the regulated support amount of 300 – 500 million VND (13,000 – 21,800 USD) per models depending on each scale.

As scheduled, Bac Giang strives to build 26 hi-tech farming models in 2018. The schedules of several models have been boosted up toward the completion at the end of this year.
