Bac Giang reviews foreigners in the province

(BGO) – The Director of Bac Giang provincial Public Security (PBS) on July 27 issued correspondence to order the public security forces at all levels and localities to review all foreigners residing in the province to accelerate the prevention and control the risk of Covid-19 pandemic infection.  

Nearly 7,700 foreigners are now living and working in the province, including 6,300 Chinese people mostly working at the enterprises in the local industrial parks and clusters.

To enhance the effectiveness of the immigration and residence management, the PBS issued the correspondence to instruct the public security forces at all levels and localities to boost up inspecting, reviewing and handling the illegal immigrated foreigners and guest workers; strictly control the foreigners living and working in the areas while seriously handling any violation.

PBS Director Colonel Bui Chien Thang informed that our country has recently well controlled over Covid-19 pandemic. However, the negligence in several places caused the loose implementation of the recommendation and regulation on prevention and control.

The PBS called the residence to conduct medical declaration, actively coordinate with the competent forces in strict control at the residential areas.

If the citizens detect any foreigner illegally entering the community or those returning the hometown from the pandemic hit areas, they should immediately inform to the local authority to timely handling with isolation measure, medical trace and sample testing.
