The project of construction investment and infrastructure business in Hoa Phu IP was approved by the Prime Minister in an area of more than 207ha and total investment of 1,933 billion VND (83.4 million USD) by Hoa Phu Invest Company Limited as the investor. The project has been implemented in the communes of Mai Dinh, Chau Minh and Huong Lam.

The first phase of project was executed from 2016 – 2018 with the scale of 100ha, the second phase from 2019 – 2020 with the scale of 50ha, the third phase from 2021 – 2023 with the scale of 57ha.

As of 2019, total approved area for site clearance compensation hit 115.6ha in which the provincial People’s Committee assigned 82ha to the investors for infrastructure construction.

Since early this year till October 2020, the district has compensated more 48.3ha at two communes of Mai Dinh and Chau Minh to raise the total cleared area up to nearly 164 ha, accounting for 79 percent of the yearly target.

Now, 17 sub-businesses have invested to the IP and done business on total lands for lease of 70ha with total investment of 6,397 billion VND (276 million USD) including 11 foreign investors.

Discussing at the event, the representatives commented on the site work’s delayed schedule because several households have yet to agree with the approved old price for the compensation in Mai Ha village in Mai Dinh commune, Ngoc Lien village in Chau Minh commune.

After listening the the report and actually inspecting at the IP, Vice Chairman Phan The Tuan acknowledged the local efforts in the site work as well as the activeness of the investor in infrastructure construction.

He pressed that it is crucial to speed up the land clearance progress at Hoa Phu IP to attract the investment to the area and accelerate the economic development.

Amid the complicated development of Covid-19 pandemic in several countries, to timely draw the new investment wave to the province, the provincial leader urged the district People’s Committee and Hoa Phu Invest Co.,Ltd to well conduct the communication work and direct discussion with the residents to promptly solve the remaining work as well as the obstacles during land clearance.

Every week, the Project Management of provincial IP should directly work with the investors to the IPs and district People’s Committee to review the implementation schedule and strictly control over the construction permit issuance of the investors.

(BGO) – According to the Management Board of industrial parks (MBIP) in Bac Giang province, the MBIP has granted new investment registration certificate to 23 projects, including 15 foreign direct investment (FDI) and 8 domestic investment projects with total registered capital of over 296 million USD and 273 billion VND (11.7 million USD) respectively.
