Bac Giang strictly implements preventive measures when students return school

(BGO) - The Department of Education and Training (DOET) of Bac Giang province issued the correspondence No 207 on 1 March to allow junior high school students to stay home until the end of 8 March.

According to the correspondence, in implementation of the direction of the Ministry of Education and Training and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee in fear of Covid-19 outbreak, DOET’s Director urged heads of Education and Training division in the districts and city, the boarding schools of Son Dong and Luc Ngan districts to announce junior high school students to continue staying home until the end of 8 March.

More than 62,600 senior high school students and students of Ngo Gia Tu College, Vietnam-Korea Vocational College of Technology, Bac Giang University of Agriculture and Forestry will return school since March 2. Kindergarten, primary and junior high schools are being closed until the end of 8 March.

DOET requested the educational bases to collaborate with the families to supervise and grasp students’ health condition and implement necessary preventive measures.

Due to epidemic happenings, the schools should not hold flag salute ceremonies and other crowd activities when students come back school.
