Bac Giang supports enterprises to capture information and develop sustainably
To clarify this issue, Bac Giang Newspaper reporters had an interview with Nguyen Duc Kha, Permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial Business Association.
Could you tell us about the main functions and tasks of the provincial Center for Business Consultancy and Support?
The provincial Center for Business Consultancy and Support has the tasks of providing services on business establishment, business restructuring and production and business expansion, and other services related to enterprises' activities; implementing support projects and programs of the government and the locality, domestic and foreign organizations on developing businesses in the province; carrying out small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) support programs under the Law on Support for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises.

It is responsible for linking and coordinating with competent agencies to organize training courses according to the needs of businesses and under the support programs of the Ministry of Planning and Investment and the locality in the areas of corporate governance, human resources and technology development, while disseminating mechanisms, policies and laws related to enterprises' activities...
What are the advantages and disadvantages that the provincial Center for Business Consultancy and Support will encounter in the near future?
In terms of advantages, we receive the leadership and direction of the provincial leaders; the attention and support of departments, agencies and sectors; as well as the consensus and response of the business community. The provincial Business Association has invested in modern and synchronous infrastructure and equipment from the beginning, creating the best working environment for the center.
In addition, the centre’s staff are all responsible, dynamic, disciplined and experienced workers in this field.
However, the operation of the center will also encounter some difficulties and obstacles. For example, in receiving documents and returning results within the prescribed time, there will be cases with the time delayed as some relevant agencies are not enthusiastic and responsible to support the center in implementing consulting contracts. Some administrative procedures still have problems in terms of the handling time.
In order for the provincial Center for Business Consultancy and Support to operate effectively, according to you, what are the matters that the center's staff need to pay attention to?
In order for the center to operate effectively, the center's staff must be truly qualified, and have professional knowledge and experience, with a high sense of responsibility. In particular, the business consultancy and support need virtuous people.
Amid the current trend of deeper integration and the fourth industrial revolution, the center not only provides consultancy for domestic businesses but also FDI enterprises, so it needs employees with good IT and foreign language skills.
What are your suggestions and recommendations for the provincial Center for Business Consultancy and Support to well promote its role?
In order to contribute to improving the investment environment and raising the competitiveness index and the administrative reform index of the province, especially to serve investors and businesses better, we find the need to continue perfecting mechanisms and policies for long-term stability.
In the process of administrative reform and payroll reduction, the State should pass some public services that do not need the State's implementation to non-public organizations such as training and providing consultancy on tax, environmental resources, market and investment...
