Under the decision, the project will be developed by Song Da – Viet Duc Investment Joint Stock Company on a land area of 1.13 hectares in Tien Phong ward.

The project will include a high-rise social housing complex, internal roads, outdoor infrastructure such as courtyards, green spaces, and other technical facilities.

The main building will have 20 floors above ground and one basement, with a construction footprint of about 3,964 square meters.

The complex is expected to provide around 800 apartments ranging from 25 to 77 square meters, accommodating approximately 1,840 residents.

The basement will be used for parking and technical facilities, while the first and second floors will serve commercial and service functions. Residential units will be arranged from the third to the twentieth floor.

The project is planned to operate for 50 years, with a construction timeline of 24 months from the date of investor assignment.

Implementation results of the 1 million social housing units programme

As of 31 July 2025, Vietnam had 692 social housing projects under way with 633,559 units. According to the Ministry of Construction, completed, ongoing and approved projects account for 59.6% of the programme’s 2030 target of 1,062,200 units.

PM chairs national online conference on social housing development

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a national online conference on August 16 to review the implementation of social housing development targets in the first seven months of 2025 and deploy tasks for the remaining months to achieve the goal of building 100,000 social housing apartments this year; as well as implementing social housing development targets in the following years.

 

Bac Ninh launches Hoang Ninh Ecolife social housing project

BAC NINH – Hoang Ninh Group on August 9 broke ground on the Hoang Ninh Ecolife social housing project in Nam Ngan residential group, Nenh ward, Bac Ninh province.
