Bac Ninh businesses exert efforts to conquer new markets
BAC NINH- Many businesses in northern province of Bac Ninh have affirmed their position in traditional market and gradually expanded new markets thanks to application of science and technology to increase output and product quality.
Diversifying market
Thach An Food Processing Joint Stock Company (in Yen Phong commune) was established in 2011. The company has gained reputation with its traditional product, black grass jelly made from natural ingredients.

The company has invested in factory expansion and improving technological chain to expand consumption market and bring the product into “demanding” distribution networks like supermarkets, restaurants and hotels as well as seeking for export market. It has succeeded in producing new products.
Currently, its products have been sold in several big supermarkets such as Co.opmart, WinMart, Go!, Dabaco Mart, TopMarket, Lotte Mart, Happro foods, Family Mart and prestigious e-commerce platforms.

Sharing the common goal of improving quality and expanding market, Dai Thanh Joint Stock Company (in Lien Bao commune) has secured its strong foothold in manufacturing smart farming equipment.
Many products and services of the company meet the demand for development of modern and sustainable agriculture. Its products have been consumed in both provincial market and other provinces and cities nationwide.
Besides, the company is striving to become a leading business in seed research and production as well as application of high-tech resolutions in farming.
In garment and textile sector, Ha Thanh Fashion Joint Stock Company (in Hoang Van commune) has also gained great many achievements.
Starting with garment outsourcing for export to the US, the company has expanded markets with orders from Italy, Japan and Republic of Korea.
The company gained a revenue of 560 billion VND (21.82 million USD) in 2025 with the employment size increasing by nearly 28 percent. The company is investing in new equipment and expected to widen its factory by 19 hectares.
It aims at maintaining the traditional market while tapping into the domestic market with shirts as the core product line. It strives to earn a revenue of 600 billion VND (23 million USD) in 2026, up 40 billion VND against previous year.
Local government accompanies businesses
Despite gaining positive results, many businesses in the province face numerous difficulties related to technical barriers and consumption market, which require joint efforts of departments, agencies and local government.
According to the leader of the Department of Industry and Trade, this agency has collaborated with related units to push up digital transformation and e-commerce development in businesses to help them enhance competitiveness.
Consumers require not only product quality but also environmental values and product intelligence. Thus, businesses should increase competitiveness, strengthen R&D for new products and actively engage in building and protecting the brands, according to Nguyen Van Phuong, Vice Director of the Department of Industry and Trade.
Joint efforts of all-level government and agencies through practical assistance activities in line with proactiveness and breakthroughs of businesses will be the key for local industry to secure its traditional market and conveniently conquer new markets.
This is an important foundation for business community to grow stronger, making positive contributions to socio-economic development of the province.
