Starting March 20, the library will display valuable documents including reports and directives from the former Ha Bac province across different periods, the Ha Bac gazetteer, woodblocks from Vinh Nghiem pagoda, as well as Han-Nom documents, genealogies and socio-economic records from the late 19th to early 20th centuries.
From March 25, the provincial Center for Culture and Tourism Promotion will introduce publications and materials under four themes: “Bac Ninh – a land of talented people,” “Bac Ninh – a convergence of cultural values,” “Bac Ninh – cradle of a long-standing civilization,” and “Bac Ninh – integration and development.”
The exhibition space will feature creative installations such as models of Vinh Nghiem pagoda’s gate, artistic book arrangements spelling “Returning to the Heritage Land,” alongside images of traditional “Quai thao” hats and Dong Ho paintings.
The exhibitions will run until March 31 as part of the broader event series, serving residents and visitors while promoting the province’s rich cultural heritage and historical traditions.
A highlight will be a special art programme titled “Heritage Quintessence – A Millennium of Brilliance,” scheduled for the evening of March 27 at February 3 Square in Bac Giang ward.
