The ceremony, hosted by Bac Ninh in coordination with several neighbouring provinces, is scheduled to take place on the evening of March 27 at the February 3 Square in Bac Giang ward and will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television’s VTV1 channel.
A highlight of the event will be a large-scale drone performance featuring hundreds of unmanned aerial devices creating artistic light formations in the sky. The display will recreate iconic cultural symbols of Bac Ninh–Kinh Bac and showcase heritage values recognised by UNESCO.
The combination of modern performance technology and artistic fireworks is expected to create a vibrant festival atmosphere, helping promote local cultural pride while offering residents and visitors an impressive visual experience.
The programme will include the formal presentation of the UNESCO certificate, speeches by provincial leaders and UNESCO representatives, and a special art performance themed “Heritage essence – a thousand years of radiance,” celebrating the rich cultural traditions of the Kinh Bac region.
