In his opening remarks, Thai emphasised that Bac Ninh is one of the provinces with the fastest industrialisation rate in the country, with 39 industrial zones and over 820,000 workers.

The workforce has been and continues to be a significant direct contributor to the province’s economic achievements. In the first quarter, its economic growth reached 9.82%, ranking fifth nationwide.

The province has always considered taking care of the material and spiritual life of workers as an important political task.

This is carried out by focusing on developing social housing, investing in cultural facilities, schools, and healthcare centres for workers, and creating a favourable investment environment for businesses, thereby ensuring stable employment and income for workers.

The provincial Party Committee Secretary called on all delegates to participate with the highest sense of responsibility so that the dialogue truly becomes a platform where workers can voice their concerns; the authorities genuinely listen to and take action; and businesses sincerely share responsibility and accompany workers.

The dialogue received 18 opinions from trade union officials and members, and workers on issues such as salaries, bonuses, allowances, social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance; labour safety, occupational hygiene, food safety, environmental sanitation; security, order, and traffic safety.

In a frank and open spirit, leaders of relevant departments addressed the petitions, reflections, and proposals of trade union officials and members, and workers in line with their respective fields and authorities.

Concluding the event, Secretary Thai respectfully acknowledged, received, and highly appreciated the active and dedicated participation of all trade union officials and members, and workers.

Four exemplary enterprises for workers in 2026 are honoured.

“The opinions expressed are very specific, clearly reflecting the legitimate concerns and aspirations of workers regarding practical issues in daily life. This is very important information, helping the province better recognise existing problems in practice to take appropriate solutions and improve workers’ livelihoods,” he stressed.

At the dialogue, the provincial Labour Federation honoured four exemplary enterprises and four outstanding entrepreneurs for workers in 2026; awarded certificates to four banks actively supporting the trade union and workers in Bac Ninh; and presented gifts to 100 workers from enterprises in the province.
