The PPC Chairman stressed Bac Ninh province has gained positive results after 1 month running the 2-tier local government model, which demonstrated the great efforts of the entire political system, organizations, individuals and units from the grassroots to provincial levels.

He highly spoke on the sense of responsibility, initiative and flexibility of the public officials working in the departments, agencies and localities. Many units have implemented new working methods and arranged personnel working overtime to timely assist citizens.

Regarding the key tasks in coming time, PPC Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan urged the communes and wards to review, adjust and reinforce the human resources especially in the fields of land, construction and finance by August 15.

Based on the review of the personnel structure, the Departments of Construction, Agriculture and Environment and Finance will second their officials to the localities and reassign personnel from the overstaffed to understaffed agencies with appropriate policies.

Besides, they will organise training courses for grassroots-level officials with work-based contents.

The PPC Chairman urged the localities to be flexible in dealing with this work, a key task need to be concentrated on.

The local leaders were asked to encourage the public officials to promote the sense of responsibility, creativity and readiness to work overtime even weekends to launch a wide-range emulation campaign for the cause of serving citizens and local development.

He added, the agencies and units must arrange personnel to work at weekend since this Saturday to resolve pending works.

PPC Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan also noted some socio-economic development tasks. Particularly, he requested the Department of Construction to collaborate with related units to quickly implement water drainage solutions in Bac Giang ward and speed up researching and implementing at the same time two important plannings including general urban planning and adjustment to the provincial master plan.

At the conference, the participants discussed, gave opinions and agreed to pass some other important contents.
