He informed Susun Group is a big international enterprise in infrastructure construction, which has been in the world’s top 500 companies.

The Group expects to engage in investment and construction of infrastructure projects in Bac Ninh province in the fields as urban, traffic, irrigation and industrial parks in accordance with Vietnamese law.

Susun Group is strong in construction projects under EPC and PPP models combining construction, operation and maintenance. It has cooperated with Hanoi to run 3 construction projects in railway, road and bridge sectors.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, the provincial Party Chief Nguyen Hong Thai expressed his pleasure to welcome Yan Jiehe and the delegation of Pacific and Susun Groups to visit and seek investment opportunities in Bac Ninh.

He stressed Bac Ninh province is undergoing strong development, thus investment in infrastructure, especially traffic infrastructure is significant to drive local socio-economic growth.

Besides, he briefed on implementation of some construction projects in Bac Ninh province with a focus on Gia Binh airport and connected infrastructure projects.

Bac Ninh province is also planning to build an expressway connecting Gia Binh international airport to the province’s center.

The provincial Party Secretary highly appreciated Susun Group for establishing a subsidiary company in Vietnam and its intention to invest about 3.5 billion USD in Bac Ninh.

He hoped the Group will closely collaborate with the Department of Construction to study and implement traffic construction projects, in which paying attention to developing industrial park infrastructure and smart cities to soon add in the master plan and launch projects in coming time.

After the discussion, Bac Ninh’s Department of Construction and Susun Group signed a MOU on cooperation.
