BAC NINH - Bac Ninh’s domestic budget revenue in the first quarter is estimated at 28.345 trillion VND (over 1 billion USD), reaching 48% of the annual target and rising 37.9% year-on-year, marking a strong start that underpins the province’s 2026 socio-economic goals.

Notably, land-use fee revenue posts an impressive increase, more than doubling to 2.04 times the level recorded in the same period last year. The surge is mainly driven by investors making scheduled payments for residential and urban projects auctioned in late 2025.

Other revenue streams also record strong gains, including land and water surface rental fees, which rise 3.7-fold; registration fees, up 24.8%; and revenue from local state-owned enterprises, up 20.9%.

On the expenditure side, local budget spending is managed tightly and in line with projections. As of March 25, total local budget expenditure reaches 9.756 trillion VND. Of this, development investment spending amounts to 4.082 trillion VND, equivalent to 24.6% of the annual estimate, mainly allocated to infrastructure projects.

Meanwhile, recurrent spending totals 5.674 trillion VND, ensuring funding for education, healthcare, culture, public administration, security, defense, and especially social welfare policies.
