BAC NINH – The “FDI Connect 2026” forum will be launched on April 24 in the northern province of Bac Ninh, an event aimed at strengthening links between foreign-invested enterprises and Vietnamese companies and promoting deeper participation in global supply chains.

At a working session on March 11 at the provincial People’s Committee headquarters, Pham Van Thinh, member of the provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Bac Ninh People’s Committee and head of the province’s National Assembly delegation, met with representatives of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to discuss coordination for organising the forum.

Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Pham Van Thinh delivers remarks at the working session.

The forum is expected to take place in Bac Ninh on April 24, 2026. It aims to enhance connections between the foreign direct investment (FDI) business community and Vietnamese enterprises, promote the development of supporting industries and improve the capacity of domestic firms to join global production and supply networks.

The event will also provide a platform for policy dialogue between government agencies, local authorities and the business community on issues related to investment, production and supply chain development.

Hoang Quang Phong, Vice President of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry presents the draft plan for organising the “FDI Connect 2026” forum.

The forum is expected to bring together around 600 participants, including leaders from the government, ministries, central agencies and local authorities, as well as representatives of international organisations, foreign business associations, FDI enterprises and Vietnamese companies.

Discussions will focus on strategies to attract next-generation FDI, investment policies in the context of the global minimum tax and measures to strengthen supply chains while enabling Vietnamese businesses to integrate more deeply into global manufacturing networks.

An overview of the event.

As part of the programme, the organisers plan to hold the International Business Golf Tournament – FDI Connect 2026, tentatively scheduled for June 25 at Viet Yen Golf Course.
