The State Treasury of Vietnam raised 5.2 trillion VND (nearly 223.9 million USD) from government bonds (G-bonds) in this week’s auction at the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX).

According to the HNX, the auction offered a total of 4.5 trillion VND (193 million USD) worth of G-bonds with different maturities.

Three tenures were available, including five-year bonds worth 500 billion VND (21.4 million USD), and 10-year and 15-year bonds valued at 2 trillion VND (86 million USD) each.
The auction of 10-year bonds mobilized 2.6 trillion VND (111.9 million USD) at the average yield rate of 5.1 percent per year, the same as the auction on October 28.
The auction of 15-year bonds sold 2.6 trillion VND (111.9 million USD) worth of bonds at the annual interest rate of 5.3 percent, the same as the previous auction.
There was no successful bid for five-year bonds.
So far this year, the State Treasury of Vietnam has collected 142.547 trillion VND (6.1 billion USD) from G-bond auction at the HNX.

Over 14 trillion VND lent to enterprises to develop production and business
(BGO) – According to the State Bank of Bac Giang province, so far the commercial banks in the province have disbursed over 14 trillion VND (over 600 million USD) to nearly 1,500 enterprises who borrowed the capitals for production and business development, up more than 1 trillion VND (42.9 million USD) comparing to the late period last year.
Vietnam makes progress in improving business climate
Vietnam has made encouraging achievements in improving the local business climate and national competitiveness since the issuance of Resolution No.19 in 2014, as heard at a seminar held in Hanoi on November 2.
