Industrial Technical College signs partnership to establish semiconductor training center
BAC NINH - The Industrial Technical College of Bac Ninh province on November 20 signed a cooperation agreement with Haizhichen Vietnam Artificial Intelligence Co., Ltd. to establish a training center for semiconductors, AI and new energy technologies.
The partnership aims to meet rising demand for high-quality human resources in advanced technology sectors. Under the agreement, the two sides will jointly invest in building and operating the center, combining the school’s training capacity and facilities with the company’s technology solutions and industrial AI expertise.

The center consists of five practice labs, including industrial AI machine vision, integrated 3D vision with industrial AI, smart manufacturing using industrial AI, semiconductors and new-energy vehicles. The total investment is estimated at about 45 billion VND (1.95 million USD).
Beyond equipment investment, the partners will also develop formal training programs and short courses in machine vision, 3D vision, industrial AI, semiconductors and new-energy vehicles.
The company will provide curricula, technical materials and specialists to support teaching and technology transfer for lecturers and students. It will also coordinate internships and recruitment at partner companies in the AI and semiconductor sectors.

The cooperation is expected to create a new direction for the Industrial Technical College in high-tech training, contributing to the supply of skilled workers for the province and Vietnam’s fast-growing semiconductor and AI industries.
The college has long held strengths in training key industrial occupations and is currently partnering with more than 100 corporations and enterprises, nearly half of them foreign-invested. Each year, more than 3,000 students intern at major firms such as Samsung, Canon, LG Display and Goertek Vina, earning an average of 6.5 million to 11 million VND per month. More than 96% of graduates secure jobs immediately, with typical salaries of 13 million to 18 million VND per month.
In recent years, the school has also implemented international joint-training programs such as “1+2”, “2+1” and “1+1+1”, enabling students to study abroad, obtain dual degrees and work at companies in South Korea and China.
