Since March 1, Vietnam has granted visa-free entry for up to 45 days to citizens of the three European countries traveling on package tours, adding to a list of 25 countries enjoying visa-free entry.
The most popular destinations for travelers from these markets during the visa-waiver period were Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Phu Quoc Island, and Nha Trang, Agoda said.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam previously proposed that domestic airlines launch direct flights to Poland, Czechia, and Switzerland following the visa waiver.
Vietnam aims to attract 22–23 million foreign tourists by the end of this year after receiving 17.6 million last year.
