(BGO) – This year, several households in the communes of
Binh Son, Luc Son, Truong Son in Luc Nam district, Bac Giang province have
grown the yellow flower tea in 6 more hectares, increasing the total cultivation
area of this crop in the district up to 10 hectares.

The natural plant is originated locally and grown as an ornamental tree and environmental improvement. The scientists have recently found out many nutrition components in the yellow flower tea as one kind of herbal medicine, helping cool the liver, resolution and diuretic.

Targeting to expand the cultivation area, the district People’s Committee has assigned the Division of Agriculture and Rural Development to make the annual production plan and support mechanism.

Currently, the competent agencies are collecting the demand and supporting about 4,000 seedlings worth 10 million VND (about 430 USD) to develop 10 new hectares till this year end.
