Over 89.7 billion VND to be donated for the poor in Bac Giang
Permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Mai Son pressed on high result of donation within the Action month for the poor in 2021 and Social Welfare Programme in 2022 amid numerous economic difficulties in post Covid-19 period, proving for the joint efforts and sharing from the whole political system, business and people.

To further well implement the emulative movement “Bac Giang join hands for the poor – No one is left behind”, the Action month for the poor in 2022 and Social Welfare Programme 2023, the provincial leader urged all Party levels to enhance the leadership to direct the political system and authority to cooperate with the FFC and organizations to implement policies of poverty reduction and movement to support the poor.
Launching the Action month, FFC Chairman Tran Cong Thang said the target of poverty reduction in 2021 – 2025 period is not only to help people have enough food and cloth but also to ensure them sufficiently enjoy basic social services, minimum demand of medicine, education, house, clean water, hygine and information.
On the occasion, the provincial FFC awarded Certificate of Merit to 14 collectives with many contributions to the poor and local social welfare programme.
At the launching ceremony, 37 organizations, localities and businesses registered to donate over 89.7 billion VND (3.67 million USD) to the provincial Fund for the poor, donated 422 million VND in cash to the Fund for the poor.
