On behalf of the provincial leaders, Duong Van Thai briefed the guests on natural conditions and socio-economic development of the province. He stressed, Bac Giang has big advantages for industrial and agricultural development. Besides, the province has planned 9 industrial parks by 2030.

So far, Bac Giang has welcomed many investors from other countries to seek investment opportunities including China. So far, China ranks second in terms of the project quantity while being top in terms of the investment capital in Bac Giang. The foreign investors have been growing well in the province.

By this occasion, the provincial Vice Chairman expected the Counsellor of Chinese Embassy in Vietnam would continue introducing the potentials of Bac Giang to other Chinese enterprises to seek investment opportunities in the province.

At the meeting, representative of AAC Technologies Vietnam Company Limited introduced their company. This is a big Chinese company in manufacturing electronic components in Bac Ninh province. The company is building a new factory in the northern province of Vinh Phuc. This company expected to receive attention and support of Bac Giang province for their investment and production in the province in coming time.

Counsellor Hu Suo Jin suggested building a high-tech agricultural cultivation area at the scale of about 1,000 hectares in Bac Giang to export agricultural products to China.

According to the provincial Vice Chairman Duong Van Thai, the province always gives priorities to high-tech industrial and agricultural production. Hence, the province will facilitate the enterprises investing in the province.

He assigned the provincial competent agencies to grasp and surmount difficulties of the investors. Regarding establishment of a high-tech agricultural cultivation area, he said it would be convenient because some Chinese experts were cooperating to transfer some high technologies and high-tech products to Bac Giang University of Agriculture and Forestry. The province will accelerate establishment of a high-tech agricultural cultivation area at a large scale.
