RoK Embassy introduces more investors to Bac Giang

(BGO) -  On December 18, the Vice  Chairman of the Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee Le Anh Duong and leader of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DoFA) paid a visit to extend the Tet greetings to the Republic of Korea (RoK)’s Embassy to Vietnam on the upcoming 2020 New Year. The delegates were welcomed by  Jeong Woo Jin, Acting Ambassador, Consulate General of the RoK to Vietnam.

After 27 years since the diplomatic relation establishment December 22 (1992 - 2019), the Vietnam – RoK cooperative tie has achieved comprehensive development.

Vice Chairman of the Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee Le Anh Duong presents gift to representative of RoK Embassy to Vietnam.

The RoK is the first ranking country in the number of investment projects with over 230 projects and second in term of registered capital in the province, mostly to the fields of mechanical fabrication, garment and electronic among others.

Bac Giang province is home to many projects funded by the RoK Government such as Vietnam Korean Vocational College of Technology, Samsung Hope School in Hiep Hoa district...

Hoping for a more and more developed bilateral relationship, Vice Chairman Le Anh Duong urged the RoK Embassy to Vietnam to pay further attention to accelerating the mutual cooperative tie while actively supporting Bac Giang province to access to the RoK’s non-governmental aid and develop the investment, trade, culture and tourism relations.

Acting Ambassador Jeong Woo Jin said the RoK Government will continue introducing more investor to Bac Giang province, implementing the training support programme and scholarship presenting events to the provincial officers in the public administrative management, economy, environmental protection, language, bio technology and food processing technology.

On the occasion of New Year, Vice Chairman Le Anh Duong wished the leaders and officers of the RoK Embassy to Vietnam a new year with health and expected for a closer cooperative tie between the two countries.
