Due to a stroke in mid-1999, Pham Thi Sam (76 years old) in Trung village, wife of martyr Hoang Dinh Lich, has been bedridden for many years. As soon as they visited, the doctors and nurses of the district Health Center measured blood pressure, did ultrasound scanning, and provided advice on a diet suitable for her illness.

The story that the living witness Nguyen Van Muu (91 years old) in Tinh Loc village told about his memories when participating in the two resistance wars against French colonists and US imperialists made many youth union members shed tears. Doing an ultrasound, the doctors and nurses encouraged and instructed him on how to use the medicine thoroughly.

On this occasion, the emulation group No. 4 also organized visits, health examination and counselling for martyrs' mothers and wives, war invalids and sick soldiers who face difficulties in travelling. In each place they visited, the delegation presented gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, and tonic; as well as provided medical examination and counselling, and health check-ups at home.

At the People's Committee of Quy Son commune (Luc Ngan district), doctors and nurses of the Luc Ngan Young Physicians Club started to transport medicines and medical equipment, and quickly set up desks to welcome nearly 150 people who rendered service to the nation and benefit from the State’s policies. Most suffered from stomach pain due to eating habits, ENT problems, osteoarthritis, and high blood pressure. The doctors examined their health, distributed medicines and instructed how to use.
