8 businesses resume operation in Bac Giang from May 26

(BGO) – Following the Government and Prime Minister’s instruction about duo task implementation of Covid-19 prevention and control as well as economic recovery and development, the People’s Committee in Bac Giang province (PPC) on May 25 issued urgent plan to organize the production and business activities for enterprises in the industrial parks of Dinh Tram, Quang Chau, Song Khe – Noi Hoang and Van Trung. 

Before resuming the operation, the enterprises must be reviewed, inspected and assessed to ensure satisfying enough condition for Covid-19 prevention and control during production while getting sufficient instruction about safety measures and regulations in production and pandemic prevention.

The firms are in fours industrial parks (IP) of Dinh Tram, Song Khe – Noi Hoang, Quang Chau and Van Trung. The resumption started at May 26, 2021.

The exemplary models are created at the businesses with first resumption, including Sanwa Vietnam Company Limited (Dinh Tram IP), Bac Giang Import Export Joint Stock Company (Song Khe – Noi Hoang IP), New Wing Interconnect Technology Co.,Ltd (Van Trung IP), Fuhong Precision Component Bắc Giang Co.,Ltd (Dinh Tram IP and Block P in Quang Chau IP), New Hope Co.,Ltd (Quang Chau IP), Hope Special Co.,Ltd (Quang Chau IP) and Si Flex Vietnam Co.,Ltd (Quang Chau IP).

The companies need to isolate their workers for at least three days before resumption and test all of them for Covid. The workers need to test negative twice.

Employers need to provide vehicles to transport the workers. In the first month after resumption they need to test everyone once a week.

After the outbreak is contained, they need to conduct random tests on 10 percent of their employees before the 15th of every month. New employees need to test negative twice in two weeks.

PPC Chairman assigned the provincial IP Management Board to coordinate the provincial inspection groups to check, assess and instruct the enterprises before May 27, 2021.

(BGO) – On May 20, Chairman of the Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee (PPC) issued document No.2268/UBND-KTTH about implementing disease preventive measures; facilitating organizations and individuals to support necessities and food to concentrated quarantined areas.

(BGO) – Implementing duo task of Covid-19 prevention and control and effective production and consumption of farm produce, the People’s Committee in Bac Giang province assigned Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to coordinate to Department of Health, Department of Industry and Trade to instruct the districts and city to grant certificate of Covid-19 free lychee.

(BGO) - In the "Covid-19 epicenter" of Viet Yen district (Bac Giang province), at this time, agencies and units are focusing highly on performing the "triple" tasks: ensuring the safety of the general elections, preventing and controlling Covid-19, and taking care of the lives of people and workers in quarantined and locked down areas.
3.2 million USD donated to Bac Giang province for Covid-19 fight
(BGO) – On May 19,  Lieutenant General Duong Dinh Thong, Political Commissar of Military Zone 1 handed over 500 million VND (21,600 USD) to Bac Giang province for local task of Covid-19 prevention and control. Secretary of the provincial Party Committee (PPC) Duong Van Thai and leader of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) received the donation.
Military set up two Covid-19 treatment hospitals in Bac Giang, Bac Ninh
The military are urgently setting up two temporary hospitals to provide care for Covid-19 patients in the northern provinces of Bac Ninh and Bac Giang, which are the two provinces affected the worst by the current Covid-19 resurgence in Vietnam, on May 19 afternoon.
