To achieve such strong growth momentum, Bac Giang's labor demand in industrial parks (IPs) increased by about 35% compared to the same period in 2023.
Currently, Bac Giang province has a population of more than 1.9 million people (ranked 10th in the country) and is in the golden population structure period with about 1.1 million people of working age.
Hoang Van Thang, Head of the Division of Labor - Employment, Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA) said: "On average, each year, the whole province has from 25-27,000 people entering the working age who can participate in the labor market. In addition, there is a large number of people working in the fields of agriculture, forestry and fishery who need to change jobs. However, it is forecasted that the labor supply in the province can only meet about 70% of the needs of enterprises”.

In addition, the difficulty that businesses face in recruiting human resources is also due to the paradox of supply and demand. Businesses and workers have not yet reached agreements on benefits such as salary, allowances and working conditions among others.
To overcome the current difficulties in balancing labor supply and demand, maximizing local human resources, in addition to forecasting the market, the important solution is to connect and create favorable opportunities for businesses and employees to grasp information and build stable labor relations.
With this motto, since the beginning of the year, the Provincial Employment Service Center has organized 75 job transaction sessions, 4 career counseling and orientation conferences and 2 job fairs which attracted 300 businesses and more than 14,000 employees.
At the same time, the Center also strengthened counseling, vocational training support and job search for unemployed workers when they apply for unemployment insurance.

According to statistics from the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, since the beginning of the year, Bac Giang has attracted about 110,000 workers, meeting the needs of enterprises, including tens of thousands of people from other provinces.
This is a success because attracting and recruiting workers is under great competitive pressure with localities that are ahead in industrial development such as Bac Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Vinh Phuc...
Labourers choosing Bac Giang as a destination proves that the working environment in the province's industrial parks has been significantly improved, creating an attraction for human resources from other provinces.
