Bac Ninh accelerates progress on Que Vo Industrial Park Expansion 2
BAC NINH - On the afternoon of November 19, Pham Hoang Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Bac Ninh People’s Committee (PPC), chaired a meeting to review progress on the Que Vo Industrial Park Expansion 2 project.
The project, invested by Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation, was approved under Decision 333/QD-UBND on April 28, 2025. It covers more than 140 hectares across Chi Lang Commune and the wards of Phuong Lieu, Bong Lai and Que Vo, with registered investment capital of more than 1.8 trillion VND (78.4 million USD).

Since the September 28 meeting on project implementation, provincial departments, local authorities and the investor have accelerated procedures on compensation and land clearance in line with regulations. Compensation payments began on November 1.
As of November 18, authorities had completed compensation for 62.3 out of 92.9 hectares of agricultural land, equivalent to about 67.06%, with total disbursements reaching about 268.34 billion VND.

At the meeting, Chi Lang Commune leaders said they would continue working with the Gia Thuan Land Development Center and the investor to persuade households and Party members in Yen Gia Village to accept compensation, aiming to complete site clearance before November 30, 2025.
PPC Chairman Pham Hoang Son stressed that the Que Vo Industrial Park Expansion 2 project is critical to the province’s high-tech industrial development strategy.
He called for stronger communication efforts, noting that cadres and Party members must set an example to build consensus among residents.

He also instructed provincial departments and relevant agencies to closely coordinate in resolving outstanding issues, accelerating progress and putting the project into operation to attract secondary investors.
On this occasion, the provincial leader presented Certificates of Merit to two collectives, one household and three individuals for outstanding contributions to site clearance for the project.
