International tourist arrivals to Ha Noi rise by 25.2% in July
Ha Noi welcomed around 2.8 million visitors in July, including roughly 553,000 foreigners, up 10.3% and 25.2% against to the same period last year, respectively.
According to the municipal Tourism Department, total revenue from tourism activities in July was estimated at over 10.68 trillion VND, representing a year-on-year increase of 13.9%.

In the first seven months of this year, the capital city is expected to have welcomed 18.36 million holidaymakers, including 4.21 million foreign visitors, up 11.6% and 22.3% year-on-year, respectively, raking in a combined revenue of 73 trillion VND.
In July, the average hotel room occupancy rate reached 56.94%. To date, Ha Noi has 3,761 tourist accommodation establishments offering a combined total of 71,256 rooms.
Of these, 85 properties, including hotels and serviced apartments, have been officially ranked from 1 to 5 stars, comprising 11,965 rooms.
In 2025, Ha Noi has set an ambitious target of welcoming 31 million tourist arrivals, including 7.5 million foreigners, with projected tourism revenue nearing 130 trillion VND.
Ha Noi’s tourism sector is expected to contribute at least 8% to the city’s gross regional domestic product (GRDP).
