Japanese delegation explores investment opportunities in Bac Ninh
BAC NINH - A Japanese delegation led by Yushita Hiroyuki, former Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam, visited Bac Ninh province to explore investment opportunities and survey local lychee production areas.
The delegation was welcomed by Mai Son, member of the provincial Party Standing Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Bac Ninh People's Committee (PPC) on June 15.

During the visit to Phuong Son Ward, the delegation toured a one-hectare lychee orchard owned by Do Van Sinh in Phi Le residential area.
The orchard is cultivated under VietGAP standards and is entering the peak harvest season, with healthy trees and high-quality fruit.

Yushita Hiroyuki and delegation members praised the scale of the growing area, fruit quality and local efforts to implement safe production standards, manage growing-area codes and ensure product traceability.
He said these measures are important for helping Bac Ninh lychees meet the increasingly stringent requirements of the Japanese market.
Hiroyuki also pledged to continue serving as a bridge to promote business exchanges, connect enterprises, introduce Vietnamese agricultural products to Japanese consumers and explore future cooperation opportunities.

The delegation later presented illustrated books and commemorative gifts to students at Phuong Son No. 3 Primary School.
Speaking at the event, PPC Vice Chairman Mai Son expressed hope that the visit would provide Japanese delegates with greater insight into Bac Ninh's strengths, development potential and investment environment, helping to expand cooperation across various sectors and further strengthen ties between the province and Japanese partners.
