Meeting with the company’s officials and workers, the Prime Minister highly valued their efforts in applying advanced science and technology in production and business, as well as boosting links with farmers in Ninh Binh and other localities.

He said agriculture can serve as a steppingstone to make Vietnam an upper-middle-income country before 2035.

He asked the sector as well as Dong Giao company to apply advanced technologies like sensor technology, automation, drone technology, big data, cloud computing, 3D printing and internet of things in order to develop Vietnam’s modern agriculture.

The Prime Minister asked the Ministries of Agriculture and Rural Development, and Planning and Investment, and other relevant agencies to make policies more favorable to agriculture. He also urged them to focus on modernizing the agricultural sector in order to meet the domestic demand of nearly 100 million people as well as the demand for export.

Dong Giao is one of the pioneering enterprises in the development of high-tech agriculture and the formation of supply chains. The company uses materials produced in Ninh Binh, Gia Lai and 13 other provinces, creating jobs for more than 20,000 workers.

Tan Yen district supports hi-tech agriculture models

(BGO) – In 2018, Tan Yen district (Bac Giang province) targets at building 8 – 10 hi-tech agricultural farming models, including 3-5 provincial level and 5 district level ones.

(BGO) – The Chairman of Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee has approved to mobilize 2 billion VND (88,000 USD) supporting to 6 hi-tech agriculture farming models. 

 

Bac Giang – Son La exchange on hi-tech agriculture production

(BGO) – An official delegation of Son La province led by Nguyen Quoc Khanh, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee on October 30 visited and exchanged experiences on hi-tech agriculture production, steps of harvest, preliminary process, preservation, distribution, consumption as well as product export in the northern province of Bac Giang. 

 

Luc Nam builds eight hi-tech agriculture models

(BGO) – This year, Luc Nam district in the northern province of Bac Giang has supported sources to build eight hi-tech models, in which seven for vegetable cultivation and one for flower growing mostly in the communes of Dong Phu, Chu Dien, Bao Dai, Tam Di and Kham Lang.
