Vietnamese pop singer Duc Phuc will represent Vietnam at Intervision 2025, one of the most prestigious international music competitions, scheduled to take place from September 11 to 20 at the Live Arena in Moscow, Russia.

According to the organisers, Intervision 2025 will welcome participants from more than 20 countries, including China, India, Cuba, Venezuela, Egypt and South Africa.

The Intervision contest was originally held in Czechoslovakia from 1965 to 1968, and later in Poland from 1977 to 1980. This year’s relaunch aims not only to celebrate musical talent, but also to foster international cultural and humanitarian cooperation while promoting traditional artistic values.

Upon receiving an invitation from the organisers, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism tasked NOMAD MGMT Vietnam (a member of DatVietVAC Group Holdings) with nominating the national representative. The Vietnamese delegation will include officials from the ministry and the Vietnam Musicians’ Association along with singer Duc Phuc and his team.

Speaking about the opportunity, Duc Phuc said: “I’m truly honoured and excited to represent Vietnam at Intervision 2025 – such a unique and meaningful international music exchange. My team and I will give it our all to create beautiful and unforgettable moments on stage this year.”

In a video introduction posted on the official Intervision website, Duc Phuc impressed viewers by greeting them in Russian and introducing himself as the winner of The Voice Vietnam 2015 and one of the top five artists from Anh Trai Say Hi 2024, a music programme that has garnered significant attention from young audience members.

With nearly a decade of experience in the music industry, Duc Phuc is widely regarded as a powerful vocalist with a large fanbase and a strong performance record. His accolades include winning The Voice Vietnam 2015 and Breakthrough Artist at the WeChoice Awards 2017, as well as placing in the Top 10 at Lan Song Xanh 2022 (Green Wave Music Awards 2022) and in the top five at Anh Trai Say Hi 2024.

In addition to his compelling voice, Duc Phuc is admired for his polished image, professionalism and strong media appeal.

His participation in Intervision 2025 marks a significant step for Vietnamese music on the global stage. It also reflects the growing professionalism of Vietnam’s young artists, who are increasingly receiving support and international-standard guidance from organisations like NOMAD MGMT Vietnam.
