Organisers also set up 24 booths, including 21 from local companies seeking to recruit more than 57,000 workers. The recruitment area was bustling, with students and job seekers actively exploring opportunities, registering for interviews and submitting applications.
Officials said the job fair not only serves as an annual event but also reflects the province’s determination to develop human resources and create sustainable employment.
They noted that the labour market faces challenges including shortages of high-quality workers, a mismatch between training and market demand, and the impact of digital transformation and artificial intelligence.
To address these issues, Bac Ninh is prioritising digital transformation in the labour and employment sector, including building online recruitment platforms, linking data among businesses, authorities and training institutions, expanding inter-provincial online job exchanges, and applying technology to screen applications.
