Updated: 10:37, 06/11/2025

BAC NINH - The Vietnam Industry and Manufacturing Exhibition 2025 (VIMF), held alongside the 25th Vietnam Industrial Automation Fiesta (VIAF), opened on November 5 at Kinh Bac Cultural Center in Bac Ninh province.

The event, organized by OMG Event Management Co., Ltd., was attended by Dao Quang Khai, Vice Chairman of the Bac Ninh People’s Committee (PPC), along with representatives from ministries, business associations and domestic and international enterprises.

The delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate the exhibition.

Running from November 5 to 7, the exhibition features more than 800 booths spread across 17,000 square meters. Exhibitors from over 20 countries and territories are showcasing a wide range of products, including industrial machinery, tools, automation equipment, mechanical processing solutions, 3D printing and digital design.

The event also highlights applications of 4D technology, the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, robotics and smart manufacturing in industrial production and logistics as well as solutions for factory maintenance, energy efficiency and environmental protection.

In his opening remarks, Dao Quang Khai said Vietnam’s rapidly developing economy has made the manufacturing sector a key driver of growth and a foundation for strengthening the nation’s competitiveness.

He cited the Communist Party’s Resolution No. 29, issued in November 2022, which emphasizes industrialization and modernization through innovation and digital transformation. The resolution targets the industrial sector contributing more than 40% of GDP by 2030, with manufacturing alone accounting for around 30%.

The provincial leader said that to achieve these goals, Vietnam must continue fostering domestic value chains and boosting investment links between Vietnamese enterprises and multinational corporations.

The exhibition, he added, offers a valuable opportunity for local businesses to explore advanced technologies, develop strategic partnerships, and expand their global networks.

Alongside the exhibition, a series of technical seminars are being held over three days, focusing on smart manufacturing, connected factories, energy management, digital transformation, automation, and 3D printing, with participation from leading experts and technology firms.
