Young Vietnamese pianist wins top prize at QingYin Award 2025

Young Vietnamese pianist Pham Tuan Khoi has secured the highest Special Award in the Piano Category, Teen Group A at the finals of the QingYin Award - Youth Music Festival 2025, held in early August at Zhejiang Conservatory of Music in Hangzhou, China.

The QingYin Award - Youth Music Festival is a prestigious international competition that celebrates and recognises young musical talent from around the world.

Young Vietnamese pianist Pham Tuan Khoi has won the Special Award in the piano competition's Teen Group A.

Representing Viet Nam in the 2025 international finals, a delegation of 48 students competed against more than 1,000 participants from 30 countries and territories.

The Vietnamese team achieved remarkable results, earning seven Special Awards, eight Gold Medals, nine Silver Medals, and two Bronze Medals.

These outstanding accomplishments highlight the growing expertise and global readiness of Viet Nam’s young musicians on the international stage.

Among them, Pham Tuan Khoi stood out for his captivating performance, combining emotional depth, strong technical execution, and confident stage presence. He ultimately earned the competition's highest honor in his category.

More than just a competition, the QingYin Award serves as a bridge between young artists and international conservatories, offering a platform for artistic exchange and performance on the world stage.
