According to registered electricity demand from investors in the industrial park, the total required power capacity is around 78.7 MVA.

The 110 kV substation serving Tan Hung Industrial Park is almost completed.

With such demand, supplying electricity through existing 35 kV and 22 kV medium-voltage lines will only meet construction-phase needs. In the long term, a 110 kV substation is essential to ensure stable power for production and business operations.

To meet this requirement, the Tan Hung Industrial Park’s infrastructure investor began construction of a 110 kV substation in the first quarter of 2023. The total investment exceeds 110 billion VND (4.8 million USD) and includes key components such as a 1.5 km transmission line, seven pole positions, and one transformer.

At present, both the transmission line and the substation have been completed and approved following inspection.

However, the connection pole—necessary for grid integration—has not yet been installed, as it requires power shutdowns linked to the renovation of the 110 kV Bac Giang–Lang Son line. Construction of the connection pole is scheduled for August 20, 2025, and the substation is expected to be energized in September 2025.
