It will be broadcast live on VTV1 – Viet Nam Television, rebroadcast on numerous local television channels, and live streamed across digital platforms.
The programme aims to honour the nation’s glorious history of founding and defending the country, inspiring deep gratitude to the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, and generations of forebears, compatriots, and soldiers nationwide who sacrificed their blood for national independence and reunification.
It is expected to contribute to spreading widely the spirit of unity among Vietnamese people across the country and overseas, thereby strengthening faith, self-reliance, resilience, national pride, and self-respect, and nurturing the aspiration and determination to build a prosperous and powerful Viet Nam.
The event will feature renowned artists along with 500 performers and dancers.
Sharing about the programme’s creative concept, Nguyen Trung Dung, General Director of Netmedia Joint Stock Company and Chief Director of the programme, said “Proud to Be Vietnamese” is structured in three chapters: Chapter 1 – “Origins – Calling the Name Viet Nam”; Chapter 2 – “One Viet Nam – Millions of Hearts”; and Chapter 3 – “Proud to Be Vietnamese”.
The stage design for the art programme draws inspiration from the legend of Lang Lieu, combining the imagery of heaven and earth.
