Bac Giang focuses on handling obstacles to put industrial clusters in operation early
As of March 2021, the province established 45 IC with total area of 1,728.4ha, in which 30 IC have completed technical infrastructure and put in operation in 1,067.38ha.

Most of the IC have completed the legal procedures for the site work and infrastructure construction. However, some others encountered a lot of difficulties in land clearance with delayed resettlement due to several households yet to agree with the compensation price.
At the meeting, representatives from the departments, sectors and localities informed and explained about the Governmental policies, regulation and solution to handle the obstacles.
Concluding the event, PPC Vice Chairman Phan The Tuan pressed that Bac Giang defines industry as one of the pillars to develop the economy. Apart from expanding the industrial parks, the province also focuses on building and completing the IC. However, the implementation is still limited.

To recover the shortcoming, the provincial leader urged the departments, sectors, districts, city and investors to be more active. The Department of Industry and Trade (DoIT) receives the opinions from the representatives to complete the execution plan of investment and construction for the ICs’ infrastructure in the province then submit for approval before April 21, 2021. Meanwhile, DoIT will establish a Working Group to regularly supervise, expedite and instruct the districts, city and investors to correctly follow the plan with monthly report on implementation progress.
The Department of Construction should instruct the investors to make detail plan, speed up verification work, submit detail planning profile with 1/500 ratio, verify basic engineering design, construction drawing design of the IC technical infrastructure, license the levelling work and construction.
The Department of Natural Resources and Environment should accelerate to verify the environmental impact assessment, land supply document, land leasing contract for the investors to build the technical infrastructure; coordinate to the investors to consult the provincial People’s Committee to speed up the task of field land change, timely instruct the district level to handle difficulties in land and site work.

The provincial leader also noted that the People’s Committee in the districts and city having industrial clusters to boost up asking for detail plan approval; chair and collaborate with the relevant organization, units and investors to prepare the programmes and compensate for the site work; propose for higher authority to support in dealing with difficulties and obstacles to meet the schedule.
The ICs’ investors should actively coordinate with the relevant departments, sectors, Peoples’ Committee in the districts during the implementation to shorten down the time and put the IC in operation.
