A representative from the department said a public invitation for bids has been issued, followed by a selection process to appoint a transport operator. Once finalized, the route is expected to become operational in the third quarter of this year, offering a frequency of 60 trips per day.

Bac Ninh Bus Station No. 1 (formerly Bac Giang Bus Station).

The proposed route includes stops along major roads and landmarks such as: Kinh Bac Cultural Center – Ngo Gia Tu Street – Bac Ninh Bus Station No. 2 (former Bac Ninh Bus Station) – Cong O Gate – Nguyen Van Cu Street – Le Thai To Street – Ly Thai To Street – Nga Sau Roundabout – Tran Hung Dao Street – Dai Phuc Overpass – National Highway 1A – Nhu Nguyet Bridge – National Highway 1A (again) – frontage road of National Highway 1A – Xuong Giang Bridge – Hung Vuong Street – intersection of Truong Chinh and Hung Vuong streets – GO! Supermarket – Hung Vuong Street – Xuong Giang Street – Bac Ninh Bus Station No. 1 (former Bac Giang Bus Station) and in reverse.

The bus will depart from the Kinh Bac Cultural Center in Kinh Bac Ward and terminate at Bac Ninh Bus Station No. 1 in Bac Giang Ward. The route is designed as a closed loop and will prioritize electric vehicles to help reduce environmental impact.

At a recent July meeting of the provincial People’s Committee, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan, an alternate member of the Party Central Committee, urged the Department of Construction to expedite the project to bring the new bus service into operation as soon as possible.

He emphasized the importance of convenient public transport for residents, especially civil servants and highlighted its role in promoting local socio-economic development.
