At the Spring Festival and Culture -Tourism Week, there will be many activities such as a procession of the Buddha statue from the Vinh Nghiem Pagoda to the Thuong (Upper) Pagoda in Tay Yen Tu, a ceremony to pray for peaceful country and prosperous people, and an exhibition introducing the cultural space of the Truc Lam Zen Buddhism in Tay Yen Tu.

The book “The relic sites and landscapes of Tay Yen Tu” will be released and the woodblocks of the Vinh Nghiem Pagoda, honored by UNESCO as part of the world documentary heritage of the Asia-Pacific region, will be displayed.

Besides, the Thuong Pagoda will be inaugurated, in addition to the opening of tourism - culture camp, the Tay Yen Tu Spring Festival and the Culture-Tourism Week. 

The first phase of the Tay Yen Tu spiritual-ecological tourism complex will be inaugurated while a workshop on linking Tay Yen Tu tours with fruit tree areas in Luc Ngan district and the Tan Son highland festival (including a Soong hao singing festival and a highland market fair) will be organized. 

The Ha (Lower) Temple and the Suoi Mo eco-tourism area will be inaugurated, together with the third Chau Van singing festival 2019, a mountain climbing competition to conquer Non Vua peak, the Vietnamese Poetry Day, the inauguration of the Than Nong Temple, and a spring tree planting festival.

The cable car system is put on trial operation at Tay Yen Tu spiritual and ecological tourism site.

The Spring Festival and Culture - Tourism Week aims to introduce and promote the unique, attractive and outstanding cultural values of the province's tourism, especially the cultural space of the Truc Lam Zen Buddhism in Tay Yen Tu. 

The events will create sustainable development linkages between localities in the province and other provinces as well as boost cultural - tourism connection in Tay Yen Tu region (including Quang Ninh, Hai Duong and Bac Giang). They will also affirm the position of Bac Giang tourism as a safe, civilized, friendly and hospitable destination to attract resources for development.

Phat moc ritual held to build Upper sanctuary of Tay Yen Tu’s Lower pagoda
