Tu Lien kumquat village prepares for Tet holiday

Updated: 15:31, 13/02/2018
The Tu Lien village in Tay Ho district, Hanoi is famous for growing kumquat trees. In recent years, the majority of people in Tu Lien have begun to cultivate bonsai kumquat. Recognising the higher reward from growing the space-saving bonsai kumquat rather than the traditional kumquat tree, Tu Lien villagers quickly increased the area of land and the number of bonsai kumquat trees, which have tripled compared to traditional kumquat.
