Delivering two impeccable piano performances marked by intricate rhythms and advanced technique, Thai An triumphed over more than 500 competitors to secure the top prize.

Nguyen Thai An wins gold medal at the 5th Rising Stars International Arts Festival & Competition Viet Nam 2025.

Held from July 17 to 19 at the Viet Nam National Academy of Music, the festival brought together young talents from eight countries and territories, including the Republic of Korea, China, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taiwan (China), Thailand, Indonesia, and host country Viet Nam.

Luu Lan Phuong, lecturer at May Space Music Academy, praised Thai An’s musical instinct and unwavering dedication. “Throughout her training, I was deeply impressed by her perseverance, discipline, and focus,” Phuong remarked.

Thai An previously earned a silver award at the May Space Little Stars Festival 2022, followed by gold at both the 2023 and 2025 editions.

Quan ho singer wins Gold at Asian Arts Festival

BAC NINH – Vietnamese female singer Minh Ngoc (born 2004) from Thuan Thanh ward (Bac Ninh province) won Gold in the professional vocal category at the 2025 Asian Arts Festival with her performance of “Gui ve quan ho” by composer Duc Mieng.
