Updated: 15:24, 23/01/2026

BAC NINH - Capitalising on newly expanded space and advantages following administrative consolidation, Bac Ninh emerged as one of Viet Nam’s brightest industrial and investment destinations in 2025.

The province’s total industrial output value was estimated at 2.4 quadrillion VND (105.1 billion USD), while the industrial production index rose 16.6% from a year earlier, placing Bac Ninh among the country’s five leading localities.

The year also marked a record high for investment attraction, with combined domestic and foreign investment reaching 18.6 billion USD, ranking Bac Ninh third nationwide for foreign direct investment inflows.

Trade activity continued to expand strongly. Import-export turnover was estimated at about 182 billion USD, keeping Bac Ninh among the country’s top two localities and accounting for nearly 20% of Viet Nam’s total export value. For the first time, the province was also listed among the Top 10 most attractive localities for large enterprises, ranking second overall.

These achievements underscore Bac Ninh’s growing role as the “industrial capital” of northern Viet Nam and a key link in global supply chains.
