Electronic enterprises in Bac Ninh are thirsty for general workers
BAC NINH- This time, many electronic companies are seeking for a big number of general labour to expand production scales or produce for new orders. In order to meet the enterprises’ demand for human resources and balance the labour supply and demand, the all-level governments, relevant authorities and suppliers are collaborating to implement a number of support measures.
These months, the HR department of FuKang Technology Company Limited in Quang Chau industrial park (IP) has attended almost all of the job transaction sessions, job festivals or online transaction platforms organised by Bac Ninh Employment Service Center No 1 to seek for workers.

Besides, the company applied information technology in online recruitment, directly telephoned workers and used social networks to communicate their recruitment policies.
It also cooperated with job service centers in the provinces and cities with abundant labour resources and came directly to the localities to recruit workers. In addition, the company called on their employees to introduce their relatives and friends to apply for jobs.
“The company creates stable jobs for over 10,000 workers now and we need to recruit 2,000 more labourers, mainly unskilled workers”, said Dang Thi Thuong, an officer of the company recruitment department.
Similarly, Dreamtech Vietnam Company Limited in VSIP IP is also looking to recruit 1,000 general workers. This company registered to employ about 800 workers each month until the end of this year to meet the production requirements of its new products.
According to the data from Bac Ninh Employment Service Centers No 1 and No 2, more than 2,400 enterprises in the province have registered to recruit workers at this time with over 108,000 job vacancies.
Of which, nearly 60,000 workers are needed in electronic industry while the remainder are in textile, mechanical engineering and service sectors.
Several electronic companies have registered big recruitment demands including Goertek Vina Co., Ltd. in Que Vo IP (15,000 workers), Newwing Interconnect Technology Co., Ltd. (Bac Giang) in Van Trung IP (10,500 workers), Foxconn Technology Group in Quang Chau IP (10,000 workers); and Luxshare-ICT Co., Ltd (Van Trung) in Van Trung IP (3,000 workers).
Although Bac Ninh province has a young labour force of around 1.9 million working aged people after the merger, it requires synchronous measures from all level-government, authorities and localities to ensure labour supply and demand balance especially when many enterprises have big demand for workers of the same industries.
The Department of Home Affairs, the state management agency in this field, is focusing on implementing communication strategies and disseminating information about businesses’ recruitment needs to the localities. This agency also continues to expand on-site collaborative training models based on specific employers’ demands.
At the same time, it has directed Bac Ninh Employment Service Centers No 1 and No 2 to actively apply information technology and promote digital transformation to innovate labour supply–demand matching activities, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the actual needs of all parties.
The centers are also instructed to strengthen the organization of online job transactions and mobile job fairs in the provinces with abundant labour forces
According to Tran Van Ha, Vice Director of the Department of Home Affairs, the sustainable solution for businesses to attract and retain a stable workforce lies in implementing appropriate recruitment policies and offering better welfare for workers.
Particularly, it is advisable to loosen recruitment criteria especially age requirements. Besides, enterprises need to give commitments and properly perform recruitment policies that ensure rights and benefits of workers.
