Labour Confederation honours 28 outstanding enterprises for dedication to workers
The Viet Nam General Confederation of Labour, in collaboration with the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), held a ceremony in Ha Noi on August 15 to honour 28 outstanding enterprises for their dedication to workers in 2025.
Speaking at the event, VGCL President Nguyen Dinh Khang stated that this year, the award regulations have been adjusted to prioritise private enterprises, foreign-invested companies, and joint-stock companies with less than 50% state capital.

Among the 28 honoured enterprises, many belong to the non-state sector and employ large numbers of workers, such as Samsung Electronics Viet Nam [MS1] Co., Ltd, Luxshare Co., Ltd, Tan De Sports Products JSC, and Phong Phu International JSC.
He stressed that the awarded enterprises have shown remarkable efforts and achievements in improving the welfare and employment of their workers by providing favourable benefits, motivating employees to contribute effectively to the development of the enterprises and the nation.
Meanwhile, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly, Nguyen Thi Thanh, emphasised the central role of workers in national development.
She reported that the National Assembly has enacted numerous important laws, including the Labour Law, Trade Union Law, Employment Law, Occupational Safety and Health Law, and Social Insurance Law to protect workers’ rights.
At the 9th session, the 15th National Assembly also passed a Resolution amending the 2013 Constitution, reaffirming the legal status and role of trade unions in representing and protecting workers' rights.
She stressed that caring for workers is not only a legal responsibility but also a social duty, a cultural and business ethical obligation, contributing to sustainable business development.
She called on the business community to continue expanding practical care models, improved human resource quality, digital transformation, innovation, and the development of a green, circular economy.
Since its inception in 2014, the “Outstanding Enterprise for Workers” Award has been presented to 578 enterprises nationwide. This activity helps build harmonious and beneficial relationships between enterprises, thus facilitating Viet Nam’s sustainable development.
