He described the airport as a “century project,” a symbolic gateway for the nation’s global aspirations, with the ambition to rank among the world’s 10 most modern airports. He affirmed that authorities and investors are working at full speed to advance both the project and the groundbreaking preparations.
The large-scale development will affect households, religious institutions and places of worship. The province has pledged to safeguard people’s interests by ensuring resettlement sites are better than their previous homes, with adequate infrastructure, religious facilities and worship spaces.
On behalf of Tu Ne Parish, Priest Nguyen Van Thiem expressed full support for the national and provincial project, while calling for resettlement areas with complete infrastructure so that parishioners can quickly stabilize their lives and maintain religious activities.
The PPC Chairman welcomed this spirit of consensus and reaffirmed the province’s commitment that resettlement zones will include comprehensive technical and social infrastructure, as well as religious facilities.
He noted that implementation of resettlement areas will be accelerated. Based on current data, the Department of Construction will develop detailed plans to allocate plots equal to or larger than the original, ensuring each religious community has a place of worship similar to their old location.
