Bac Ninh provincial leader receives Chinese businesses
BAC NINH – Bac Ninh authorities on August 4 hosted a delegation of Chinese businesses from Zhejiang Province, signaling growing interest in cooperation across high-tech, green energy and agriculture.
At a meeting held at the provincial government headquarters, Vice Chairman of Bac Ninh People’s Committee (PPC) Pham Van Thinh welcomed the delegation led by Chen Liang, head of the Zhejiang Entrepreneurs Association.

The provincial leader affirmed that Bac Ninh always encourages and creates the most favorable conditions for international investors seeking opportunities in the province.
The PPC Vice Chairman outlined Bac Ninh’s industrial achievements and development strategy under the provincial master plan approved by the Prime Minister.
The province currently has 50 industrial parks covering more than 15,200 hectares, with 41 already detailed in planning. Its vision centers on green, eco-friendly, and digital transformation-led industrial development.
Bac Ninh is prioritizing investment in high-tech sectors including semiconductors, electronics, new materials, and pharmaceuticals. These industries are expected to form part of a sustainable manufacturing ecosystem that aligns with Vietnam’s green growth targets.
With a strategic location, synchronized infrastructure and open investment environment, Bac Ninh is viewed as an ideal destination for international businesses. The provincial leader hoped that foreign enterprises would partner with domestic firms to create synergistic value chains and foster long-term, sustainable growth.
Representatives of the Zhejiang business delegation thanked Bac Ninh for its warm welcome and shared interest in exploring partnerships in various sectors.
A solar energy company in the group highlighted Bac Ninh’s favorable climate conditions—particularly its high solar exposure—as a promising advantage for renewable energy projects. The company requested further information on government and local incentives to facilitate green energy investment.
A robotics firm expressed intent to expand operations in Southeast Asia by seeking local partners and customers in Bac Ninh. The company develops advanced automated systems for multiple industries and is looking to build a wider cooperation network in the province.
Meanwhile, agricultural trading companies in the delegation proposed establishing large-scale lychee purchasing and distribution operations in Bac Ninh. One enterprise even suggested leasing 130 hectares of land to build a centralized processing zone, aiming to begin operations in 2026.

These proposals reflect strong investor confidence in Bac Ninh’s economic prospects and a desire to contribute to its sustainable development goals.
In response to the delegates’ inquiries, representatives from provincial departments—including the Management Board of Industrial Parks, Department of Industry and Trade, and Department of Finance—provided detailed explanations and consultations on local policies and investment procedures.
The meeting underscored Bac Ninh’s commitment to promoting international partnerships and leveraging its advantages in infrastructure, policy, and human resources to attract investment in key growth sectors.
